It's about a month until Christmas (sorry!), American Thanksgiving is tomorrow, and it feels like it's time to hunker down and cook some food that will warm your house and fill your belly.
The chicken is fresh & delicious and the stuffing in this is amazing, I borrowed the recipe for it from Whole Foods (click here to see).
All of the ingredients for the stuffing (and the bird itself) came from an organic/specialty grocery store, and the farmers market...and I actually ate some of the leftovers on their own the next day as a salad.
Make Your Meal Even Healthier Tip:
Making a roast chicken from scratch is actually VERY easy, and it's nice to know when you get a chicken, you can get one from great grocery or butcher & know where it came from/how it was fed. And awesome bonus, you can use the leftovers, and the carcass to make homemade chicken noodle soup or chicken broth to put to future use, I did!
