It's "Tasty Tuesday", where every week we bring you new, fresh, local, healthy recipes and food tips. Find out what is in season, and what will keep you fuelled during and after your work outs!
It's so dark, and so cold, and so blustery lately that I wanted to brighten my mornings up.
This "Galaxy" Smoothie is very simple, ingredient and steps wise, and you don't even have to do the two-colours, but look how fun it is!
Enjoy this before you head out to your next Barre class during the challenge!
Make Your Meal Even Healthier Tip:
I picked up a lot of organic fruit for this, but you can also use berries from the freezer if you'd like. Maybe try adding granola, or some chia or hemp seeds.
The best thing about smoothie bowls is that you can personalize it easily!

INSTRUCTIONS:
Blend the frozen bananas, non-dairy milk, protein powder and blue majik in a high powdered blender until smooth.
Scoop out half of the smoothie into a bowl (or bowls) and then add the beed powder and blend (this will turn it purple).
